1. The Competition is open to pianists of all nationalities.
  2. The Competition includes separate age groups
  3. Participants may enter a category of a higher age group
  4. All the performances are open to the public.
  5. Candidates must play from memory. Exceptionally, for contemporary music scores will be
    tolerated. All must be able to present the score from which they are playing, if requested
  6. Applications close on February 28th 2018
  7. Entry will be confirmed upon payment of fees
  8. In case of withdrawal, the participant is kindly requested to inform the organizers
  9. Fees are not refundable
  10. The Jury may interrupt a candidate during performance. The Jury can split a prize or not award a prize
  11. The Jury’s decisions are final
  12. The results will be announced before the end of the day of each group’s performance
  13. The winners of each group will perform at the Gala Concert on April 14th 2018. The prizes and the diplomas will be awarded at the Gala Concert. Should a winner not participate at the Gala Concert, the prize will not be awarded
  14. Any video or audio recordings remain the property of the organizers
  15. Travelling and living expenses are to be borne by the candidates
  16. The organizers will not accept any responsibility for accidents during the competition
  17. Entry to the competition implies full acceptance of the Competition’s Rules.
