Entry Fees
Groups A and B: 60€, C: 70€, D: 80€, E and F: 110€;
Groups A, B, C and D will be held in two separate sections, Live in Athens or Online with YouTube videos (to be submitted before May 18th 2025).
Groups E and F will comprise a first Round Online, with YouTube videos (to be submitted before April 6th 2025), a second Round Live in Athens and a third Round Live, with string quartet accompaniment.
Group A: 8 years and under (Born after 31 May 2016) (live or online video)
- Two pieces (max. total time 5 mn)
Group B: 9 - 10 years (Born after 31 May 2014) (live or online video)
- Two or three pieces – free choice (max. total time 7 mn)
Group C: 11 - 13 years (Born after 31 May 2011) (live or online video)
- One piece of baroque, classical or romantic style
- One or two pieces – free choice
(max. total time 10 mn)
Group D: 14 - 16 years (Born after 31 May 2008) (live or online video)
- One piece of baroque, classical or romantic style
- Two or three pieces – free choice
(max. total time 15 mn)
Group E: 17 - 19 years (Born after 31 May 2005)
First round (online video)
- One piece from J.S. Bach (or of baroque style)
- One etude – free choice
(max. total time 10 mn)
Second round (live)
- One piece from J.S. Bach (or of baroque style) – same as first round!
- One quick movement from a classical sonata (Haydn, Mozart or Beethoven)!
- One romantic piece
- One jazz or one contemporary piece as follows:
Jazz (eligible for the Jazz prize):- Nikolaï Kapustin – Toccatina Op. 36,
- Angel Nikolov – Jazz Etude – Clock Alarm (score attached)
- an improvisation in jazz style,
(max. total time 30 mn)
Third round (live, with string quartet accompaniment on the competition)
